Ana Gaboleiro  -  Psychotherapist, with over 20 years experience.

I am registered with the UKCP (Council for Psychotherapy), member of the Council for Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis College & the Arbours Association of Psychotherapists. I am also a member of BAPPS (British Association for Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Supervision). I abide by their codes of ethics and good practice.

I offer Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, brief and time limited Counselling and Psychoanalytic Relational Supervision.

Psychotherapy and Counselling

At some point in our lives, we may experience extremely painful feelings triggered by temporary crises or long-standing issues. Talking through your problems and needs with a therapist can enable you to explore the options available to you and empower yourself to bring about the necessary changes in your life, so that you can move forward.

What to expect:

I provide a safe and confidential space, where a wide range of emotional  problems, painful experiences and difficult feelings can be expressed, acknowledged and worked through with an experienced practitioner.

               
There is an initial consultation to discuss your concerns and needs. We will then determine what feels appropriate and right for you.

For some individuals, the therapy will be brief (up to 6 sessions), or time-limited (12-24 sessions). For others, the therapy will be open-ended.    

Each session lasts 50 minutes. Low-cost fees for therapy and supervision are negotiable depending on availability and your circumstances.

I also offer online sessions.

Clinical Supervision

Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Supervision for Psychotherapists and Counsellors, doing individual therapy, including brief work with their clients. It is also open to other professionals working in a variety of settings (i.e. social workers, etc) wanting to explore case material and develop an understanding of relationship dynamics between themselves and their clients.

I am based in Caversham, Reading RG4. My clients are mainly local and from areas in Berkshire, such as Wokingham, Bracknell. Others are from Basingstoke, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hampshire.
